| I love VW's, I have 2, a 1969 turbo charged Karmann Ghia and a
Manx off-road car. Here are some build pictures of my Manx which has
been a project now for about a year. It started with just a pan and
a pretty beat up body. I knew I was going to drive this in the
desert and local mountains so I didn't spend a great deal of time on
the body work. I did however, fill all of the holes that the
previous owners had put in and I painted it. I spent most of my time
on things that would make it fun to drive in the desert like cage
work and suspension. I finally took it out and was very pleased on
how it drove right off the trailer. I still need to do some tweaking
and add creature comforts for the driver but I am pleased overall with the way it
turned out. |
